This charming and picturesque new series follows Jeremy Paxman as he travels along four of Britain’s greatest rivers, exploring their history, traditions and wildlife, and talking to those who live and work on them. In the first episode, he’s on the Tweed, on the border between England and Scotland, where he tags osprey chicks (right) in a secret location, tries his hand at shearing Cheviot sheep, and tracks down the People’s Front for the Liberation of Berwick. If you’ve never seen Jeremy as a ‘devoted fisherman’, prepare to be amazed. You live and learn.
