This entertaining 18-part US series takes the premise of the 1987 Hollywood buddy-cop classic and runs with it. The first episode sees veteran detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) returning to work following heart surgery, hoping for a quiet life in the run-up to retirement. The last thing he needs is a new partner with a death wish; former Navy Seal Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) has been skating on thin ice, psychologically speaking, since his wife’s tragic death six months earlier. Can this odd couple work together to solve a murder posed as a suicide?
