(2000) 15

Red Heat

(1988) 18 10.45PM, ITV

This Cold War buddy-cop movie benefits from the enjoyably odd pairing of a deadpan Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Soviet cop and James Belushi as his louche Chicago counterpart.

The Wedding Video

(2012) 15

11.25PM, BBC1

A decent cast of British comedy stars hams it up superbly in this affable Britcom from Nigel Cole (of Calendar Girls fame). Robert Webb and Lucy Punch (below) play groom and bride, while Rufus Hound is the bothersome best man, pointing his video camera in all the wrong places.

The Great Train Robbery

(1978) 12 11.50PM, ITV4 Not the story of Ronnie Biggs and co from the infamous 1963 heist, but the fictional tale of a Victorian thief, written by Michael Crichton. Sean Connery is Edward Pierce, the high-society gent with a wily plan to steal gold. Donald Sutherland and Lesley-Anne Down co-star.

Lockout

(2012) 15 12.55AM, CH4

Futuristic sci-fi that owes more than a debt of gratitude to John Carpenter’s Escape From New York. Guy Pearce is the brooding CIA agent tasked with rescuing the President’s daughter from intergalactic thugs on a prison fortress hovering in outer space.
