ITV IS GO!

ITV’s first official colour programme was a Royal Auto Club Road Report at 9.30am, followed at 9.35am by The Growing Summer, London Weekend Television’s first colour production for children. At 11am Thunderbirds followed, and the first colour TV advertisement was shown in the break – for Birds Eye peas.
