FEED PLANTS IN POTS Container plants are still growing fast and need to be fed all summer. A feed high in potash helps promote root and flower formation, one high in nitrogen stimulates foliage growth. A feed that combines the virtues of both, such as liquid seaweed, works well for most plants.
