CORONATION STREET

-

DOUBLE OR QUITS? The big day arrives for the Connor men, both of whom, for reasons only they understand, have decided to marry women with psychotic tendencies. You can’t help feeling that if they’d gone into the centre of Manchester for just one night, they’d have enjoyed greater pickings. But there you go – each to his own.

For another reason only he will understand, Aidan chooses this of all days to confess his adultery. With Maria (pictured, centre, with the brides and grooms) turning up at the venue, denouncing the ceremony as a sham ( yet another woman with psy--

chotic tendencies – no surprise it’s mostly guys writing this stuff), will she manage to call a halt to the proceedings? Will Eva still want to go ahead? And will Johnny and Jenny make it, hurtling their way on motorbikes (you’ll have to see it, really).

There’s some much-needed humour when Norris and Mary arrive at the radio station for the Mr & Mrs competition. When Colin from marketing discovers that Norris runs a newsagent’s he makes a huge fuss of the pair, but what is his end game? Something tells me he’s not just after an early copy of next month’s Homes & Gardens.
