Simon Rattle conducts The Damnation Of Faust, Berlioz’s ‘dramatic legend’, live from the Barbican Hall as part of the celebrations to mark his inaugural season as Music Director of the London Symphony Orchestra. Tenor Bryan Hymel takes on the role of Faust, with mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill as the beautiful Marguerite and tenor Gerald Finley as the devilish Mephistopheles.
