FIVE THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT ME...

1 I love going to the laundrette. If I’m on location staying in a hotel I can’t stand how expensive the laundry is – £3 just to clean a pair of socks. So I find the local laundrette and take my stuff in there, and sit and read. Nobody bothers me because there aren’t many paparazzi hanging around laundrettes!

2 Hermès scarves are my passion. I must have 200 of them. I don’t wear them all the time because, to be honest, I think you need a certain European flair to pull off that look. But they are so beautiful to look at.

3 My best friend is a woman I’ve known since we were both ten. Her name is Dyani – she’s Native American, and we’re very different people but she’s incredibly special to me. She’s like a sister – someone I fought with and made up with.

4 I’m very strict with my sons, Ryder, 13, and Bingham, six. You see kids who walk all over their parents. They knock another kid over the head with a water pistol, their parents take it away... and then the kid throws a tantrum and the parents give it back! I know what to do with that water pistol – they don’t get it back. Ever.

5 Exercise is my essential beauty routine. Don’t get me wrong, I love make-up, scrubs and such. But for me, it’s more important to work out so that I feel good from the inside too.
