Charing Cross Road in London is still home to fine book shops, though the one in this drama is no more (the site became a fast-food outlet). Anne Bancroft plays the American writer who has a long and enriching correspondence with the shop’s manager (Anthony Hopkins).

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time

PREMIERE Based on Stephen Sondheim’s stage musical, this fantasy is set in a multiplefairytale world. The questing heroes (James Corden and Emily Blunt) go into the woods at the behest of a witch (Meryl Streep), where they meet Cinderella (Anna Kendrick, left), Rapunzel and more.
