Reunited for the first time since Bake Off swapped channels, this one-off special sees Sue Perkins, Mary Berry and Mel Giedroyc heading for south Wales to throw a spectacular surprise Christmas party in the small village of Pentre, in the Rhondda valley. While Mel and Sue get busy giving the local community centre a makeover for the occasion, Mary is in the kitchen, doing what she does best – cooking. Which means that the locals who use this hub of charitable community activity are guaranteed a truly mouthwatering festive feast.

Rowan Atkinson returns as the enigmatic French detective for a new drama, which begins with a showgirl visiting the station to report overhearing two men discussing the murder of a countess. When both the countess and the showgirl are later found dead, Maigret realises he should have taken her claims more seriously. SH
