Craig is called to a disturbance at a lap dancing club where he’s asked to interview dancer Maddison about the incident. Craig is appalled to discover Maddison is none other than his girlfriend Bethany, who insists that lap dancing gives her a feeling of power over men. It’s early days but, having handled the grooming story so sensitively, it seems a clumsy decision for scriptwriters to have Bethany moving in this direction so soon.

Eva is feeling unwell, which usually means one thing in soaps – a pregnancy. Sure enough a test proves positive. When she goes for her

first dating scan, she’s surprised to learn she’s 17 weeks along. So who’s the father? Lying, cheating Aidan or lying, cheating Adam? As the news sinks in, Eva realises she may not be ready for a baby. So Eva doesn’t want a baby and Toyah does but can’t have one. We can see where this one might be heading.

Toyah is feeling uneasy now Carla, Peter’s ex, is back in town (although in fairness she’s everyone else’s ex as well). Things come to a head when Michelle overhears Toyah tell Leanne that she can’t stand Carla, resulting in a very unladylike row between the women (above) who throw drinks over one another.
