Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a ‘nasty woman’, so – by way of protest – a fragrance was created from frankincense, lavender and cedarwood, and marketed under the name Nasty Woman. Mixologists created a Nasty Woman cocktail, and a line of clothing proudly bearing the words Nasty Woman was launched. In this programme, the highly talented comedian and Early Man (5pm, Classic FM) impressionist Jan Ravens hosts a discussion on the Nasty Woman battle cry, and then presents comedy clips from great women comedians including Meera Syal, Hattie Jacques and Linda Smith. Miles Kington died ten years ago from pancreatic cancer. Miles wrote How Shall I Tell The Dog?, which was made into a radio show starring Michael Palin, after receiving the diagnosis. This programme, which first went out on Radio 4 in 1991, finds Miles in his prime, visiting Frome in Somerset and finding it a place of many mysteries.

Early Man is in cinemas this weekend; its score, written by Harry Gregson-Williams, adds to the fun of this latest Aardman animation. Harry, who also wrote the music for Aardman’s Chicken Run, takes us through the scoring process for Early Man, and has some useful advice for would-be film composers.
