9PM, BBC1 Stretching deep into the Arctic Circle, the Yamal peninsula in northern Siberia can see winter temperatur­es dropping to -50°C or below. For thousands of years, the Nenets people have survived by migrating with their reindeer herds across this frozen wilderness. But this year is one of the harshest in living memory and, at the age of 65, Medko Serotetto (right) finds the journey tougher than ever – how many of his herd will make it to the summer pastures? Medko’s story is one of those featured in the second of this three-part series. It’s a long way from the rush hour.

Murdered For Love? Samia Shahid

9PM, BBC2 On July 14, 2016, 28-year-old Samia Shahid left Bradford and flew to Pakistan to visit her family; her body was found less than a week later, and her first husband and her father were arrested. Postponed from January, this film tells the shocking story of Samia’s short life and brutal death.
