Each year, half a million people buy a ticket to travel back in time to the golden age of steam. This charming new series meets the people devoted to keeping the railway on track, including Paul ‘Piglet’ Middleton, Chris Price and Kieran Murray (right). In this episode, the team kick off the new season by welcoming a glossy VIP guest from London – celebrity steam engine Royal Scot, a true star attraction.
