THE JUDGES, RULES AND PRIZES

The Great British Wildlife Photography Challenge is open to all amateur photographers, to be judged by our panel including Matt, Deborah Meaden, David Suchet, Gillian Burke and Sally Fear and our technical judges

Gray Levett and Simon Stafford. There are five categories: 1. Mammals; 2. Birds; 3. Insects; 4. Fish, Reptiles, Amphibians and Molluscs; 5. Under-18s. Entries must be submitted by email by Friday 1 June 2018 and the winners will be announced in Weekend magazine. Category winners will have their photos published in the magazine and put on display and receive a Nikon D5500 digital camera, lenses, a memory card and a year’s subscription to Nikon Owner magazine, as part of a £1,000 package. The overall winner also receives a four-day trip to Europe with Simon Stafford for a wildlife photography masterclass.
