THE RULES

All photos must have been taken in the British Isles. Studies of pets and animals in captivity are ineligible.

Only amateur photographers can enter.

Entrants can submit photos in more than one category but no more than three in total.

Entrants must verify the provenance of each image and, if they win, provide the original file to confirm it hasn’t been manipulated in a significant way.

If shortlisted, entrants will need to submit a high-resolution version of their photograph.

Entrants cannot submit photos that have previously won any award or commendation.

Email your entries as Jpegs to wildlife@dailymail.co.uk by Friday 1 June 2018. Include your name, age, address and phone number.

Prizes are as described above. Travel insurance is not included for the overall winner. No cash alternatives. Employees of DMG Media and their families, households or agents are not eligible to enter. Usual promotion terms apply, see dailymail.co.uk for details. The judges’ decision is final.
