Why does Giles Coren get paid to act like a naughty schoolboy in BBC2’s Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond The Lobby? Monica Galetti [above right, with Giles] at least takes it seriously and gets involved behind the scenes. In my opinion celebrity travelogues are so unnecessary – we want to see the sights, not someone being treated to an experience they could afford in the first place.
