Priest Ted Crilly gambled away his winter heating allowance on Craggy Island’s King Of The Sheep contest in Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted. This was the last series of the show – Dermot Morgan, who played Ted, died of a heart attack aged 45 shortly before it aired.
