Tom Hardy stars as decent guy Bob Saginowski in this excellent Brooklyn crime thriller, based on a Dennis Lehane story. His uncle (James Gandolfini) runs the bar where he works, which is used as a drop point for scary local mobsters – and their powerful, destructive orbit can’t help but pull Bob in.
