To take a walk around York is to take a walk through time. Two miles of city walls, built in the Middle Ages, offer views of Roman ruins, medieval towers, Civil War damage and Victorian additions. Clare Balding joins Gill Callow on a walk along the walls, where Gill explains how the sights of the city have helped her to come to terms with bereavement.
