PRUNE BUDDLEIAS Buddleias produce flowers on new growth so by pruning hard now you stimulate new shoots and ensure the shrub has as many blooms as possible. If yours is growing in the open, leave two sets of new shoots from the base.

If it’s in a border, cut back to about 60cm from the ground.
