Co-written by and starring Stephen Mangan, this six-part comedy revolves around a therapist whose life is even messier than his clients’, and features an astonishingly starry cast of cameos, some of whom, in this first episode, flit on and off the screen in a matter of seconds. Following the demise of his group therapy practice, Dr Richard Pitt (Mangan, right) is launching himself online, talking to his patients – and his own therapist, played by Richard E. Grant – via a webcam, while hiding a dark secret from his wife, Karen (Katherine Parkinson).
