She performs under the stage name Billie Marten, and recently toured with the band Villagers. Billie joins Lauren this morning for a live session of new music, following on from her debut album, Writing Of Blues And Yellows.

The BBC Concert Orchestra will be joined by singers Scott Davies, Katie Hall, Celinde Schoenmaker and Geronimo Rauch for this event.

Barbara, who finds fame hard to deal with, gives a rare interview about her work in this literature and language programme.
