It was always assumed that those who existed in the grey zone were unaware of their condition, but in the late 1990s, neuroscientist Adrian Owen made a chance discovery that set him on a path of enquiry. In this programme, he talks about the technique he has pioneered to help those in the grey zone to communicate with the outside world.

7PM, BBC 6 MUSIC HHHH Shana Cleveland, who has a ghostly yet pretty voice, joins Marc to talk about her surreal and haunting solo album, Night Of The Worm Moon. Shana was inspired to produce this eerie collection of tracks after watching a film about aliens in Los Angeles.

THE CLEMMIE HART YEARS

In 2004, Anneka Rice was fired by her agent, so she decided to invent one. She named her creation Clemmie Hart, and pretended to be the imaginary agent when answering the phone. The deception worked well for quite a few years – but then, Clemmie started to develop a mind of her own, making decisions that weren’t at all in line with Anneka’s wishes.

In this funny one-woman show – which first aired in June – Anneka spills the beans. SJ
