Over the next four weeks, Kevin Mccloud (right) will be touring the country to explore some of the most spectacular homes in the running for the 2019 Royal Institute of British Architects House of the Year. In the first episode, Kevin and his co-presenters, architect Damion Burrows and design expert Michelle Ogundehin, will be visiting five experimental homes competing for a place on the short list. They include a house made entirely from cork, and a small but perfectly formed micro-home built on the site of a double garage.

This final edition focuses on a miscarriage of justice that led to wide-ranging changes in the powers of the police. In 1972, three boys, aged 14 to 18, stood trial for a murder they didn’t commit, and the case was to transform the treatment of suspects.

Are the famous Amazonian fighting women of history fact or fiction? Lupita Nyong’o, the actress who won an Oscar for 12 Years A Slave, heads to Benin in west Africa to find out, and emerges with a beautifully shot film that is a powerful story of both the past and the present. MIKE MULVIHILL
