TWIG STARS & TREES

Use foraged sticks to make these natural ornaments.

STARS Pictured on tree, right. Cut 5-6 same-length twigs, arrange in a star shape and stick together with a hot glue gun.

STAR TOPPER Pictured on top of tree. Create a larger version of the stars and tie to the tree with florist’s wire.

TREES Pictured below right. Cut 2 long sticks and 1 short, and glue in a triangle. Add a shorter stick for the trunk, and when dry, zig-zag coloured yarn across the trees.

RECYCLED SNOWFLAKES

Pictured below. Flatten a toilet roll tube and cut into 1cm strips. Arrange in a star shape, then glue together. When dry, coat with snow spray and finish with a snowflake topper in the middle. Snow spray, £1, and snowflake toppers, £1 for 10, hobbycraft.co.uk.

GLITTER PINE CONES

Pictured below. Add sparkle to foraged pine cones with biodegrada­ble glitter. Simply brush a little glue on to the tips of the pine cones and sprinkle with the glitter. Leave to dry, then tie with
