8AM, RADIO 2 HHHH
Dua Lipa made her radio debut on one of Dermot O’leary’s Saturday Sessions back in
2016, singing Hotter Than Hell. Dua (the name means love in Albanian) now has several hit singles, three Brit Awards and two Grammy Awards to her name, and her second album, Future Nostalgia, is on the way. She tells Dermot about the album and her coming tour this morning.
GRAHAM NORTON
10AM, RADIO 2 HHHH

SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES
5PM, CLASSIC HHH The Newman family have been musical mainstays of the movies for generations. They’ve played in Hollywood orchestras, been musical directors and conductors, and produced reams of great theme music for films, stacking up shelves full of awards for their work. Andrew Collins looks ahead to the upcoming Oscars ceremony, and picks Thomas Newman’s score for 1917 and Randy Newman’s music for Marriage Story as likely contenders to add to the Newmans’ vast trophy collection.
SETH LAKEMAN’S FOLK MAP OF THE BRITISH ISLES
9PM, RADIO 2 HHH
Seth Lakeman grew up in Devon, and was playing in the family band as soon as he was big enough to hold a fiddle. Seth, who also plays viola, banjo and pretty much any string instrument he can lay his hands on, begins a four-part series tonight. He’ll be visiting the four corners of the British Isles to hear distinctive music from each area, and he begins here with a trip to Scotland. SUSAN JEFFREYS
