PICK OF THE DAY
THE WINDSORS: SECRETS OF THE ROYAL TOURS
7PM, CH4 ★★★★
For the final episode of this fascinating series, the focus is on the 1990s – and also on the next generation of royals, who will pick up the gilded baton as our Queen, now 93, takes a step back from more globetrotting duties. A hugely eventful decade for the Windsors, the 1990s included Princess Diana’s unforgettable work raising awareness of land mines (right), just a few months before her tragic death. We also follow the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their first official overseas tour, to Canada.
