The hugely entertaining travel show is back for a second series as six competing teams race the 15,000 miles from Mexico City to Ushuaia in Argentina – without mobile phones or credit cards. They include husband and wife Robbie and Jen, and brother and sister Dom and Lizzie (right).

In this fascinating two-parter, Miriam Margolyes travels the country to discover why, despite so much information about healthy lifestyles, our nation is at its most overweight. Among the experts she consults is behavioural scientist Dr Eric Robinson (right, with Margolyes).

IF YOU WANT TRAVEL... JOANNA LUMLEY’S HIDDEN CARIBBEAN TUESDAY, 9PM, ITV

The absolutely fabulous presenter (right) is off on her travels again, this time taking a two-part tour of Cuba and Haiti. It’s part travelogue, part history lesson, and Joanna isn’t afraid to shine a light into the darker corners of these paradises, particularly in poverty-hit Haiti.

IF YOU WANT BLIND DATES... FIVE GUYS A WEEK TUESDAY, 9.15PM, CH4

This rather silly, if good fun, new dating show fast-tracks the ‘getting to know you’ part of the relationship, as one single girl invites five men who are looking for love to move into her home and live with her for a week… all at the same time. So, will Amy (right) like all the attention – or yearn for her own space?

IF YOU WANT HEALTH ADVICE... HOW TO BEAT – AGEING THURSDAY, 8PM, CH4

Sadly, you can’t actually beat ageing – it happens to all of us – but in this new health series, Kate Quilton and Dr Javid Abdelmoneim (right) explore the small changes that could at least delay the process slightly. In the first episode, they explore the benefits of fast walking and getting a good night’s sleep.

IF YOU WANT CHARITY... FRIDAY, 7PM, BBC1

The BBC rolls out the big guns for the biennial fundraiser, which supports charity at home and abroad. Among the highlights are a special edition of Line Of Duty, with Lee Mack and Jason Isaacs joining the team (right), while Andy Murray joins comedian Romesh Ranganathan for a round of mini golf.
