VIRTUAL CHURCH SERVICE
8AM, BBC LOCAL STATIONS HHHH Church doors are closed, bells are silent, but the Virtual Church is open. Each Sunday morning a leader, from a different denomination, will lead a service that’s open to all. BBC local radio will also provide on-air spiritual reflections for other faiths.

PATRICK KIELTY’S COMEDY HEROES
9PM, RADIO 2 HHHH Mel Brooks, who has been making the world laugh for 80 years, knew that he was born to be a comedian. He clearly remembers, or so he tells Patrick Kielty in this larky interview, relatives peering into his cradle and laughing their heads off. Mel – now in his 90s, and as funny as ever – talks about the business of being a comedian, and about the many movies he has made, including Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. It’s a wonderful trip down memory lane as Mel shares amazing tales from his phenomenal life. SJ
