The Eternal City is up first as excitable Gregg discovers the delights of Rome. He gets a rare look inside the Trevi Fountain, takes a scooter ride (right), makes gelato and navigates the Jewish ghetto.

He does so in extravagant style, after riding a luxury train costing £3,000 for a two-day trip. He marvels at a floating village on Lake Titicaca, and ventures into the scary but amazing Amazon.
