Paul’s culinary and cultural adventure begins in Tokyo, where he embraces the Japanese love of themed restaurant­s, and reluctantl­y takes part in the even weirder concept of solo karaoke. Then, it’s time for a death-defying karting tour of the city while dressed as a Mutant Ninja Turtle, alongside a heavymetal singer called Ladybeard (right). Only in Japan.
