It’s a reminder that she was not only a glamorous royal wife, but also a humanitarian who wanted to use her words to change the world, and latterly to be open about the pressures of her life within the royal family. The film examines her role as the ‘people’s princess’ as well as the key moments that led up to that explosive Panorama interview in 1995 and her devastating comment about her relationship with Prince Charles: ‘There were three of us in this marriage.’
