What a delight to watch Ben Fogle: New Lives In The Wild (pictured) on Channel 5 as he revisited people who gave up the rat race for a life off-grid. We’ve all had to learn to cope with isolation in various forms recently, and have unexpectedly found pleasure in a less material world – being outdoors, growing our own veg, etc. These people’s ability to be happy with very little is a lesson to us all.
