To celebrate four decades of fundraising for Children In Need, and ahead of next week’s annual telethon on Friday, November 13, here’s a look at memorable moments from one of the most big-hearted, silly and unpredictable nights on British television. Host

On a Friday night in the capital, London Ambulance Service’s 320 crews have their hands full as reports come in of an armed man and two separate stabbings in quick succession – calls come in at a rate of one every 15 seconds. But it’s not all doom and gloom as Adam and Orani attend an elderly man who loves to sing and dance.
