Modelled on a Bollywood starlet from the 1960s, the mannequin was a big part of Dawinder’s childhood, growing up in the Midlands – and she’s keen to see it restored to its vibrant former glory. Elsewhere in the shop, a penny arcade machine, a lumberjack’s tree spurs and a cherished wedding ring all have heart-warming stories to tell.
