The event truly appalled the nation, and led to firearms reforms. Lorraine Kelly led GMTV’S coverage, and forged strong bonds with the people of the town. In this commemorative special, she returns to see how the families – whose resilience is so admirable – have coped, and to gently help them to tell their incredibly moving stories. It’s a highly emotional watch.

9PM, BBC2 ★★★★ Another run of the fun series is coming to an end, and we’re on home soil. Monica Galetti and Giles Coren are behind the scenes at the Shangri-la in London – Britain’s highest hotel. From butlers in the bath to exuberant proposals, no guest need is too much of an ask here.
