Reformed car thief Randall ‘Memphis’ Raines (Nicolas Cage) is blackmailed into stealing wheels again by Christopher Eccleston’s crime boss, who is threatening to kill his brother. A loose remake of the 1974 cult classic.

If Jaws (Richard Kiel) had his way, 007 would be on the menu, but instead, the henchman chews his way through padlocks, prison bars and whatever else stands in his way. It’s one of Roger Moore’s (above, with Barbara Bach) most enjoyable Bond outings.

Ron Perlman stars in this action thriller as a former Mossad agent turned assassin for hire who, ahead of his retirement, has one last score to settle. Formulaic stuff, but with a decent cast that includes Richard Dreyfuss.

This fifth film in the boisterous Cgi-heavy swashbuckling franchise stars Kaya Scodelario as an astronomer looking to the stars, and finding Javier Bardem’s rotting Captain Salazar getting in her way. Salty sea dog Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) returns.
