TOTP: THE STORY OF 1992
★★★★ Another heady dose of musical nostalgia in this series charting the 1990s revamp of Top Of The Pops, year by year. This episode opens with a performance from Glaswegians Wet Wet Wet – who, post-hogmanay, were a bit worse for wear. Dance music dominated the charts, but this was also the year when Take That (right) took off. An eventful 12 months ended with Whitney Houston as the Christmas number one, and, after two programmes devoted to the powerful voice of Annie Lennox (10.45pm), you can catch Whitney’s
BBC highlights at 12.15am.
8.45PM, BBC2 MATT BAKER: OUR FARM IN THE DALES 6.30PM, CH4 ★★★
It’s back to the Baker family farm with lambing season in full swing, but lambs aren’t the only babies being born – Baker children Luke and Molly are also excited to meet the farm’s first pygmy goat kids. Matt’s dad, Mike, has a birthday to celebrate as the restoration of his vintage Dodge continues.
CASUALTY 8.45PM, BBC1
★★★
It’s a worrying time for paramedic Teddy when he blacks out while tending to a young man stuck up a tree. Back at the ED, Teddy’s mum and aunt Jan exchange strong words. The young man up the tree, meanwhile, is having terrifying hallucinations and, back on terra firma, it’s a race against time to find the cause.
KILLING EVE 9.25PM, BBC1
★★★★ Villanelle has a go at therapy, and forces psychopath expert Martin (a returning Adeel Akhtar) to treat her at his home – and he’s surprisingly insightful. Eve makes a big decision, mayor Konstantin gets excited about sausages, and undertaker Pam has a breakthrough of her own. SIMONE ANDREWS
