The focus of this new makeover show is better living by design – so it’s not just about plush soft furnishings and funky paint colours, but about making family life functional and fun. Hosts Nick Grimshaw and Emma Willis (right) arrive at the Eastbourne home of Becca and Sam, who have four children, in a huge truck that is packed with ideas and design solutions. To work out what is needed in the house, the team observe how the family use the space, before it’s time to delve into the ‘truck of wonder’ and start the transformation.

The concluding episode of this eye-opening series focuses on two more common conditions that could affect us all. First is Paul, who learns what happened to him during the stoke he suffered. We then meet Jane, who discovered she had bowel cancer, and is talked through her surgical treatment.

There are five designers left, and it’s time for them to go solo. Their challenge this week is to showcase their individual flair on a shepherd’s hut at an upmarket campsite in north Wales. Michelle Ogundehin is joined by guest judge Laurence Llewelyn-bowen to determine who’s made the perfect pitch.

Kate’s cafe gets her first online review, and she pretends not to be bothered by her one-star rating – which doesn’t last long. Koji is dating a vegan and Kate has a go at cooking a romantic meal for the couple, while guest star Claire Skinner, from Outnumbered, plays a woman even more obnoxious than Councillor Bone.
