Is there a deep-rooted Left-wing bias at the BBC?

-

UKIP is considering legal action against the BBC claiming Left-wing bias during the televised opposition leaders’ debate. It’s time the Corporation was tackled over its appalling manipulation of politics. Question Time is so anti-Right, it is unwatchable, often turning into a bear pit if a poor panellist should utter anything outside the Leftie audience’s mindset. When challenged on Left-wing support, the BBC simply denies it, but it must be held accountable and openly rebuked for this blatant influence over the voting public.

MIKE PRENTIS, Nottingham. IT TOOK ten minutes before I switched off the opposition leaders’ debate, such was the obvious Leftwing bias of the audience. Scrapping the TV licence fee is long overdue.

D. COTTRELL, Pontypool, Gwent. EVAN DAVIS’S interview with Ed Miliband shows the BBC bias. With David Cameron, Davis was nasty, aggressive and rude, but with Miliband he gave him every courtesy. If this is the BBC being impartial it’s time to pull the plug.

Mrs K. ELLIS, Barrowford, Lancs. ANDREW MARR’S interruptions during his interview with the Prime Minister proved the bias of the BBC. He kept firing questions when David Cameron was trying to reply. What’s the sense of that? These interviews would be helpful if only the listeners were allowed to hear what the politicians were saying.

S. NIGHTINGALE, Bolton. THE myth that the BBC has a Left-wing bias should be laid to rest. Its chief political editor is a failed Tory candidate who writes for The Times and The Daily Telegraph. Question Times’s chairman was a member of Eton’s bully boy Bullingdon Club. Right-wing ninnies see the truth as Left-wing bias because they believe all the untruths with which the Coalition has tried to brainwash us.

BILL RIDLEY, Fareham, Hants.
