Blair wars? Blame his sex life, says MP

- EDITED BY RICHARD EDEN

WESTMINSTER’S tallest MP, Daniel Kawczynski, is backing Theresa May as the next Tory leader.

‘The problem with men is they are always competing against each other,’ says the 6ft 9in politician at a party in Whitehall. ‘There’s a lot of strange male testosterone; sexual sort of inadequacy.’

When a fellow partygoer bizarrely suggested Tony Blair might have taken Britain to war so often because his wife, Cherie, wasn’t satisfying him in the bedroom, Kawczynski replied: ‘Well, you know I would say that, thinking as a man, certain men may be overtly aggressive if they don’t have a good sex life.

‘I find that if you have a good sex life, then you’re more relaxed and less aggressive, less confrontational.’ Kawczynski certainly has an interesting perspective on intimate relations. He came out as bisexual two years ago, following the end of his 11-year marriage to a woman.

AS JERRY HALL, 59, is courted by 84- year- old media magnate Rupert Murdoch, her ex Sir Mick Jagger continues his deepening love affair with a 28-year-old ballerina.

The Rolling Stone, 72, began seeing dancer Melanie Hamrick, pictured left, just 11 weeks after his long-term partner, L’Wren Scott, killed herself in 2014.

This weekend the age-gap duo were spotted at The Leopard at des Artistes restaurant in New York. ‘Most of the guests had left by 10pm when they arrived,’ reports a fellow diner. The rake-thin couple chomped their way through ‘snapper, pappardelle carbonara, risotto, ravioli and several side dishes’, leaving after midnight when the restaurant was empty.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if the randy old goat romanced an 84-year-old for a change?
