The MP, his new love and his selfie queen ex
BARELY four months ago he was accusing her of cheating on him. But this extraordinary picture shows how things have changed since Simon Danczuk’s public break-up with his ‘selfie queen’ wife Karen.
The Labour MP for Rochdale is seen with his soon-to-be former wife – and his new love, councillor Claire Hamilton.
There had been signs of a thawing of relations, with Miss Hamilton sending Mrs Danczuk friendly messages – on Twitter, of course.
And fittingly the two women, both 32, posed for a selfie after the trio were pictured on a night out. They met at the former marital home before Mrs Danczuk and Miss Hamilton went to a pub for a drink. They then went home to change before accompanying the 48-year-old MP for a meal at a restaurant.
In the summer, following their split, Mr Danczuk accused his wife of having an affair with her personal trainer – allegations she strenuously denied.
She reportedly claimed marriage to Mr Danczuk had been ‘sexless’ – but now says they get on better than ever.
Mr Danczuk declined to comment last night.
