SPOOKY RIDE OF THE WEEKEND:

There couldn’t be a stranger scene in any police drama, I believed, than Stellan Skarsgard’s dancing antics at the finale of River. But then oddball detective Saga (Sofia Helin) went hunting a killer in a fairground ghost train, in The Bridge (BBC4). Weird . . . and wonderful.
