Poor old king coal

ARTHUR SCARGILL’S Socialist Labour Party has filed its annual return for 2014 to the electoral Commission. It’s running at a deficit for the first time since its formation in 1996 — to the tune of £2,000. membership stands at 385 — four more than in the previous year. So it appears to lack the resources to fulfil its declared intentions of opening up the nation’s long-closed coalmines and nationalising all British steelworks.
