SHAMEFUL FROM BATH AND TOULON
BATH will play their Champions Cup match with toulon, cancelled in the wake of the attacks on Paris, on the second weekend in January. Sale Sharks agreed to move their Premiership game and the matter was resolved. So it was all rubbish: the posturing of Bath owner Bruce Craig, who said there was no room in the calendar for the game to be played; the grandstanding of toulon president Mourad Boudjellal, claiming the only suitable berth was during a Six Nations weekend and his club should get priority pick of the players. Given the painful circumstances that caused this problem, the pair should be ashamed.
