DEENEY HAILS DOUBLE ACT
TROY DEENEY attracted the headlines, as well as the venom of Aston Villa fans, but Watford team-mate Odion Ighalo was equally instrumental in piling on the misery for the Premier League’s bottom club. They scored one each and had a hand in the other, an unfortunate own-goal by Alan Hutton. ‘It’s quite funny because when I wasn’t scoring he (Ighalo) was the star and I was Championship fodder,’ said Deeney, who has a Birmingham City tattoo on his calf and was booked for his celebration.
SUPER STAT: No player has scored more league goals in the top four tiers than Odion Ighalo in 2015 (24, level with Harry Kane). .
