Nearly a third of the nation received a handmade present last Christmas, with cards, jam, chutney and knitwear topping the list, so it’s an idea that’s catching on. Dressed in her best festive outfits, Kirstie will be showing us how to make warm woollen mittens, a boozy fondue, a show-stopping garland and traditional baked tree decorations, while also enlisting ‘upcycling’ expert Jay Blades to demonstrate how to turn everyday objects into perfect presents.
