- WHAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE? Interview by ROZ LEWIS

REALITY TV star Amy Childs, 25, answers our health quiz

CAN YOU RUN UP THE STAIRS?

YES, I am pretty fit. I go to the gym twice a week and do cardio and weights. I ran the London marathon in 2013. I also do classes such as Body Attack (a high-energy interval training class) when I can. I have a bulldog, Leo, who I take for short walks, but he can’t go very far — he gets worn out.

GET YOUR FIVE A DAY?

YES, I eat lots of fruit. I always have a blueberry protein shake in the morning. I love chicken, broccoli and other vegetables. I also snack on almonds, and drink plenty of water.

POP ANY PILLS?

I TAKE a cod liver oil supplement — my mum says it’s good for your joints. And I take a skin, hair and nails vitamin supplement, which really works.

EVER DIETED?

NO. I DID once do a three-day juicing diet, but that was just to detox. I’m 5 ft 5 in and weigh about 8½ st, though I don’t often weigh myself.

ANY VICES?

I PREFER a packet of crisps or a snack such as Monster Munch over chocolate. I really don’t like chocolate at all. I’ve never smoked and only drink a glass or two of white wine with a meal at the weekend. If I am going out with the girls, I’ll have a few more drinks. And I love Yorkshire tea, usually with one sugar, which I can drink all day long.

EVER HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY?

I’VE had two breast augmentations, when I was 18 and 22. When I had the first one, I possibly was a bit young, but it really boosted my confidence. I went from a AA to a D-cup. I sort of wish I hadn’t had the second operation, as my boobs don’t look as good and I got an infection in my left one, which took a few months to sort out. I’ve had Botox and fillers in my lips, too.

SERIOUS ILLNESS/INJURY?

I’VE been pretty lucky. Even when I flipped over my Range Rover last year, I only got a bit of back pain. I hurt my leg taking part in Channel 4’s The Jump last year, but it wasn’t that serious.

COPE WELL WITH PAIN?

PRETTY well. I have had a few piercings, including my tongue. It wasn’t painful, though.

EVER BEEN DEPRESSED?

NO. I AM quite a positive person and a strong character. If I get stressed I take a few deep breaths. I’m quite good at talking to and reassuring myself.

HANGOVER CURE?

HAIR of the dog — only joking! I don’t get hangovers. I might get a bit of a headache, but nothing more. Drinking lots of water is the best way to deal with a hangover, I think. SOMETIMES worrying about work. I go to bed at about 10pm and aim to get eight hours’ sleep. I might wake up in the night and just check my social media accounts before going back to sleep again.

ANY PHOBIAS?

I HATE rats and feel physically sick at the sight of them, but it isn’t a phobia.

LIKE TO LIVE FOR EVER?

YES, doesn’t everyone say that? If all my family were around me, 100 per cent…
