Abuse for ill pro-war MP

CORBYN supporters celebrated last night after a Labour MP who backs bombing Syria was rushed to hospital ahead of today’s crucial vote.

Online trolls branded Ilford South MP Mike Gapes a ‘stinking Red Tory’ after he required emergency surgery – and rejoiced in the illness causing him to miss today’s Commons vote.

One Corbyn supporter wrote: ‘Maybe it’s better if he resigns as MP then, after all Gapes is just another Red Tory. At least he won’t be there to vote for air strikes on Syria.’

The vile comments were made after Mr Gapes’ neighbouring MP, Wes Streeting of Ilford North, wished his colleague a speedy recovery on Facebook.
